It's been a long time since I have had a chance to sit down and type some thoughts. Sorry people for the disappearance. I have been extremely busy with my photography work and continued work on the garden...

I have a few reviews thoughts and ideas coming soon so I'll be back this month (no more four month gaps I promise!!!).

Boots.com Haul

Back from visiting the folks, this box arrived while I was there! YAY! I ordered a load of Soap and Glory as they have 1/3 off in store and online at the minute.

Hello Kitty Haulage!

A pic of my most recent haul, photographed just after being eagerly ripped open this morning before work. It was like Christmas!!! :)

This keyring is the favourite item from my most recent haul, and one that will hopefully still be around when the rest of my collection has been all used up!

I have been using popster TLC on my lips all evening and I am really liking the way it makes them feel. Love the colour (neon pink), it works really well with my skin tone and makes me look forward to summer! It looks kind of orangey in the pot, but on my lips it only shows a bright pink. Here are some pics in case you were wondering how it looks compared to pink fish...

My next on the list of fave items are the lippys. I am really liking the colour, again I think they will be fantastic this summer. Nice bright colours to make me look perky! Pics shown are both with and without flash. The non-flash versions are the truest colour match, I just put the flash ones on there to show the sparklies in 'Big Bow' :)

The two pigments I purchased are at extreme opposites of the range! I haven't had chance to play with them yet, but I will be posting an update as soon as I can, I promise! ;)

The last item from the Hello Kitty collection was a glitter liner in 'Her Glitz'. I have seen some amazing looks done with this product on other blogs and Tanya (of Tanyas247 fame! - Click here to see her do her stuff!) gave me a great tip to use it as an accent on top of eyeshadow, she says to do about three strokes and then rubbing it on to give an all over shimmer! Great tip! Even more ways to play with my new goodies! YAY! :)

NARS Again via E-bay! :)

So I got a little more Nars! 

I was bored and wandering around e-bay last week, mostly looking at the MAC stuff when I came across a 'buy it now' 9947 palette :) It was a really good price for so many Nars eyeshadows, so I thought, why not?!

I am loving it so far from the swatches (below). Two beautiful highlight colours in Kilimanjaro I (a nice yellow golden white) and Himalayas (beautiful powder pink frost). Bohemian gold II looks to be everything I was hoping French Cuff from MAC was going to be (but sadly was not). All these colours I will wear!! 

Sorry the swatches are a bit wonky, I was trying to catch the sparkle properly!

More Benefit!!

BENEFIT HAULAGE!

So, here are my latest Benefit purchases, inspired by my new found love for Dandelion!

Three New Lovelies!

First to Georgia! 

I admit I was a little worried that Georgia would make me appear orange, but again I should have more faith!

It does exactly the same same thing as Dandelion, except with my skintone it makes me look more groomed, like I have wonderful smooth skin and is very glam. Dandelion gives me a healthy outdoor glow. Both Dandelion and Georgia are brilliant but for different looks.

So we come to the star, my new best friend, Erase Paste. I had been put off buying this product as the only people who seemed to be raving about how fabulous it was were people who actually worked for Benefit! Most other reviews gave this a thumbs down, I give it a massive thumbs up!

When I first tried it I was worried that it seemed to be 'sitting' on the skin under my eyes, but after 30 minutes or so, it had completely dissolved into my skin and merged with my foundation wonderfully!

No harsh dragging when applying, no cakeing under my inner eyes. FANTASTIC! I can heartily recommend this to people with super dry skin like me.

Justine Case. The final piece of the haul. I wanted to get to try out the products in this but didn't want to shell out for the full size items...

I'll post an update as soon as I've had a good go with the products in here. I'm already thinking that some kinda gorgeous is not giving me enough coverage, but I'll persevere and let you know as soon as I have a good opinion to share.
